Recently aquired, this lens has great colour saturation and sharpness, it feels like an 'L' series lens being fairly heavy, not plastic. Perfect for all crop sensor cameras, good zoom range plus IS to boot. I might use this lens as a walkabout lens, it feels solid and study, not too long on the camera either.
The Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens is a high performance zoom lens, equivalent to a 24-136mm focal length lens (5.6x standard zoom lens).
Designed for EOS EF-S mount bodies, the lens covers wide angle and portrait focal ranges. It also offers a 4-stop Image Stabilizer as well as a close focusing distance of just 0.35m throughout the zoom range.
